Do I need to be present at the inspection of my home?

No, we do not require the home owner or buyer to be present at the time of the inspection. We do, however, encourage you to be present so that we can fully explain the process and findings that we discover during the inspection.

What if all the problems that are pointed out in my initial inspection are fixed? Will you come back to make sure they are done appropriately?

Of course! We will come back out and re-inspect any property at no additional cost to the customer within 90 days of the original inspection date.

What is Radon gas and do I need to have my home tested?

Radon gas is a colorless, tasteless, odorless, and radioactive gas that is present worldwide in the environment as a byproduct of the natural decay of uranium in the Earth. If Radon is present in your home, you may be susceptible to lung cancer. Radon gas exposure is the #2 cause of lung cancer cases in the US. No, the state does not require Radon testing, but it is a good idea to have your home tested in order to protect your family's health. Find out more about Radon exposure:

Do I NEED a home inspection?

Ohio state laws do not require a home inspection to buy or sell a home, but your bank or lender may require it. A home inspection is done to protect you when you purchase a property. It can provide an in-depth look at the structural integrity of your home, the electrical safety of the home, and much, much more. A home inspection is the best way to ensure that your investment is protected and provides information about the physical and mechanical aspects of the home.
